Genesis Tree of Life Yoga and Wellness Center, located at 102-06 Metropolitan Ave., will host an event on healing the back. Call 718-544-5997 to register.
Forest Hills' Barnes & Noble, located at 70-00 Austin St., will hold its weekly children's story time event at 10:30 a.m.
Participants will be able to listen to an age appropriate story and take part in other activities.
And Queens Restaurant Week kicked off on Monday, giving borough residents the opportunity to eat prix fixe meals at more than 40 borough eateries, including a number of sites in Forest Hills, such as The Family Restaurant and Jade Eatery and Lounge.
