Billie Jean King Tennis Center Closed for U.S. Open Preparations
The center's open time court rentals will resume on Sept. 14.
The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is now closed to allow for preparation for the upcoming U.S. Open tournament.
The center, which is located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, halted its open time court rentals earlier this week. It will reopen to the public on Sept. 14.
The U.S. Open’s qualifying tournament will be held from Aug. 20 to Aug. 23.

The open will run from Aug. 26 to Sept. 9.
