Man Tries To Rob Forest Hills Cabbie with Syringe

Yes, you read that correctly.

Police in Forest Hills are seeking a suspect wanted for an attempted robbery that occurred in the backseat of a Forest Hills cab last week.

The suspect hopped into a cab at the intersection of 63rd Drive and 108th Street on Friday, May 3 at just before 10 p.m. He demanded money, brandishing a syringe and acted as if he was carrying a gun.

The driver refused the demand, and the suspect hopped back out of the cab and ran away.

The police released a sketch of the suspect, seen above. 

The suspect is described as a 25-to-30-year-old man with brown hair and a thin beard.
