Urgent Care Facility to Open on Austin Street Early Next Year

ProHealth will be a walk-in care facility for adults and children.

A walk-in urgent care facility known as ProHealth will open on Austin Street early next year.

The facility will be located at 71-53 Austin St. between Bareburger and Queens Nails and Spa.

The site, which formerly housed Alexandra boutique, was previously being considered for a chain pharmacy and an H&M store.

Construction on the urgent care facility is currently underway. Rob Russo, a spokesman for ProHealth, told DNAinfo that the facility would likely open in early 2014.

At least part of the building will be occupied by other businesses. But Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce President Leslie Brown said she had no further details on the project.
