Queens Restaurant Week Kicks Off on Sept. 30

Seven restaurants from Forest Hills and more than 40 others from around the borough are participating this year.

Seven Forest Hills eateries and another two from Rego Park will take part in the annual Queens Restaurant Week, which kicks off on Sept. 30.

The event, which is operated by the Queens Economic Development Corp., gives residents the opportunity to sample the borough’s diverse cuisine from more than 50 restaurants.

This year, Queens Restaurant Week will run from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 and Oct. 7 to 10. During this time, patrons will be able to purchase three-course dinners for a $28 prix fixe price and three-course lunches for $14.

Restaurants taking part in this year’s event serve Turkish, Italian, American, Pakistani, Kosher, Cajun, Seafood, Indo-Asian, Polynesian, Portuguese, French, Argentinian, Mexican, Spanish, Asian Fusion cuisine.

Ottomanelli Burgers, Jamaica’s O Lavrador and RW Prime Steakhouse, Flushing’s King Yum, Howard Beach’s Saffron, Richmond Hill’s Roka Turkish Cuisine, Little Neck's La Baraka, Jackson Heights’ Uncle Peter’s Restaurant, Whitestone’s Villaggio, Elmhurst’s La Fusta, Ozone Park’s Romeo’s Pizza, Queens Brewery and Astoria’s 5 Napkin Burger, Christos Steak House, Las Margaritas and Ponticello Ristorante.
