Lounge to Open Next Week at Austin Street Shopping Center

A new bar and lounge known as Pride will open in the former Common Space site on Austin Street, the bar's owner said.

Georgios Aspiotos, who also owns the neighboring Corfu Grill in the shopping center on Austin Street, said Pride would serve food from Corfu, drinks and possibly hookah.

"I was planning on extending Corfu Grill on the other side, but this side became available," Aspiotis said of the lounge's locale.

Pride will feature different themes, such as karaoke, each night and will be open seven days a week. It will also offer a brunch.

"It will be a loud brunch," Aspiotis said. "If you want a relaxing brunch, go to Corfu Grill."

In the summer, the lounge will open up its backyard. Pride is located at 70-15 Austin St.
