Danny Brown is Only Queens Eatery to Get Michelin Star

Forest Hills' Danny Brown Wine Bar and Kitchen is the only restaurant in Queens to receive a star in the 2014 Michelin Guide.

A total 65 restaurants from across the five boroughs - including 58 in Manhattan, six in Brooklyn and one in Queens - received the honor in the French publisher of travel books' new guide.

Danny Brown, located at 104-02 Metropolitan Ave., serves tapas-style small plates, charcuterie, cheese boards and bigger plates that are meant for sharing.

This year marked the fourth year in a row that the eatery, which is run by Brown and his wife, Audrey, who manages the front of the house, received a star, the New York Times reported.

The restaurant could not immediately be reached for comment.
