Stadium to Offer Refunds for Fans Shut Out of Mumford & Sons Concert

Some ticket holders had difficulty getting into the packed show.

Mumford & Sons fans who purchased tickets for Wednesday’s concert but were not able to get into the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium will be able to request a refund, 1010 Wins reported.

The West Side Tennis Club, which owns the stadium, said Thursday that it would offer refunds “to those of you who didn’t have an optimal experience” at the show.

Tickets for the concert cost $74. All 16,000 seats at the venue are general admission.

Some concertgoers complained of having trouble of getting into the packed stadium, which the tennis club attributed to “growing pains,” 1010 Wins reported.

The concert was the first show at the stadium since 1997. It once hosted performances by The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Frank Sinatra.
