Three QueensWay Workshops Will Be Held in November
Friends of QueensWay will hold meetings to discuss proposed park and to take suggestions.
A series of workshops will be held this month to educate Forest Hills residents on the upcoming QueensWay park project.
The project involves transforming 3.5 miles of abandoned railroad into a 55-acre park that would provide space for biking, walking and jogging, but also public art, food events and recreational activities, such as yoga.
Travis Terry, of Friends of the GreenWay, said that three upcoming workshops will be held to discuss the project. The events are open to the public, but those who want to attend should RSVP in advance.
