Wednesday: 9/11 Ceremonies, Children's Stories at Barnes & Noble

And the library will offer its driving course today.

There will be a ceremony today to pay tribute to the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks at Juniper Valley Park's 9/11 Memorial Garden at 7:30 p.m.

The evening will include speakers, music and poems. Attendees should bring a flashlight or candle, American flag and a chair.

The Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps, located at 92-29 Metropolitan Ave., will hold its 9/11 ceremony at 7 p.m. For more information, call 718-793-2055.

In northeast Queens, the Bayside Hills Civic Association will host its annual Sept. 11 ceremony at 7 p.m. at the corner of Horace Harding Expressway and Bell Boulevard. 

Attendees are asked to bring candles, but American flags will be provided at the event. Click here for more information on the event.

Forest Hills' Barnes & Noble, located at 70-00 Austin St., will host a children's story time event at 10:30 a.m.

Attendees will be able to listen to an age-appropriate story and take part in other activities.

The Forest Hills Library, located at 108-19 71st Ave., will offer its AARP driving class from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
