Taste of Forest Hills, Free Tennis Clinic Mark Week Ahead in the Community

Also, Flushing Town Hall will host Halloween Remixed and the Central Queens Y will hold a discussion on conflicts within on Israeli society.

Monday

The Central Queens Y, located at 67-09 108th St., will host The Culture Clash Within Israeli Society at 1:30 p.m. The event, which costs $4 for members and $7 for nonmembers, will include a discussion with Yuval Elizur and Lawrence Malkin, whose book, "The War Within," which details the conflict between Israel’s secular and modern Orthodox citizens.

Thursday

Flushing Town Hall, located at 137-35 Northern Blvd., is hosting Halloween Remixed, a combination of Dia de los Muertos, All Saints Day and Hallows Eve at 4 p.m.

Saturday

Former Olympic Silver medalist Tim Mayotte will host a free tennis clinic for girls at Cunningham Park from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Community House, located at 15 Borage Place, will host A Taste of Forest Hills from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets cost $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers. Restaurants taking part in the event include Banter, Bonfire Grill, Corfu Grill, Danny Brown Wine Bar and Kitchen, Dee’s Brick Oven Pizza, Forest Hills Station House, Jack and Nellie’s, La Dolce Italia Bakery, La Vigna, Moca Asian Bistro, The Family Restaurant, The Flying Pig and Wafa’s.
