Healthcare Forum, Jazz Shows and Election Day Mark Week Ahead in Forest Hills

Flushing Town Hall will hold two jazz performances this week.

Tuesday

It's Election Day! Take a look at Patch's roundup of which candidates are running this year and where your local voting sites are located.

Queens Botanical Garden, located at 43-50 Main St., will host "Deconstructed Flowers," a mosaic of flora by David Stein, at 8 p.m.

Wednesday

U.S. Rep. Grace Meng, D-Flushing, will hold a forum on the Affordable Care Act at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, located at 146-01 45th Ave., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Thursday

The Trumpeters of Queens will perform at Flushing Town Hall, located at 137-35 Northern Blvd., at 8 p.m. The show will cost $15 for members and $10 for students.

Sunday

The Aaron Copland School of Music will present "Guerilla Ensemble" at Flushing Town Hall, located at 137-35 Northern Blvd. The jazz performance will be free to members and students, but will cost $5 for everyone else.
