Cheryl Pepsi Riley Concert, Ballroom Dancing Highlight Week in Forest Hills

Barnes & Noble will offer a children's storytime event on Wednesday.

Monday

The Forest Hills Library, located at 108-19 71st Ave., will host a ballroom dancing class with instructor Jing Chen from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. The class will provide instruction to both beginners and advanced students.

Wednesday

Barnes & Noble, located at 70-00 Austin St., will offer a children’s storytime event at 10:30 a.m. The event will include the reading of an age appropriate story and other activities.

Thursday

Cheryl Pepsi Riley, who sang the 1988 hit “Thanks for My Child,” will perform at 7 p.m. at 70th Avenue and Austin Street as part of the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce’s Jazz Thursday concerts in August.
