The Central Queens Y, located at 67-09 108th St., will lead a visit to YIVO to visit Yiddish books, newspapers and publications, including one from the Vilna Ghetto, that were saved from Europe. The PUBLIQuartet will perform chamber music classics with a modern spin at 50 Ascan Ave. at 7:30 p.m. The concert is $22 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for students.
Queensborough Community Colleges performing arts center, located at 222-05 56th Ave. in Bayside, will hold Blue Suede Birthday at 8 p.m. The event will include performances by two renowned Elvis Presley impersonators, one of whom will sing tunes from the king’s early career and another who will tackle his later years, jumpsuits and all.
