Green thumbs, get to digging.
The New York Restoration Project is set to giveaway 200 free trees in MacDonald Park next month to local homeowners looking to green their streets and lawns.
The event will take place Sunday, May 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. in MacDonald Park at Queens Boulevard and 70th Avenue.
Event organizers recommend reserving one of the trees beforehand, which you can do at this website: www.nyrp.org/QueensTrees.
Some trees will be available without a reservation, but will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
