MacDonald Park Spruce Up to Be Held in November

Forest Hills Green Team and city Parks Department will help clean up park along Queens Boulevard.

The Forest Hills Green Team and the city’s Department of Parks and Recreation will hold a spruce up event at MacDonald Park next month.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the park, which is located along Queens Boulevard between Yellowstone Boulevard and 70th Road in Forest Hills.

Volunteers at the event will rake leaves, plant bulbs, mulch, weed, clean park benches and tables and paint litter baskets.

Gloves and supplies will be provided for attendees. The spruce up is open to all ages.

Participants should meet at the center of the park at 70th Avenue and Queens Boulevard across from the Forest Hills post office.
