Help Homeless Kids With Operation Backpack

Koslowitz hosting drop-off point for school supplies.

Every child in New York City should have an opportunity to participate in their local school, and with a little help from their neighbors, they can.

City Councilwoman Karen Koslowitz, D-Forest Hills, will be hosting a drop-off point at her office for Operation Backpack, the New York effort to get school supplies to students who may not otherwise have them.

The drive will take place from July 16 until Aug. 10, and residents who want to drop off backpacks or other school supplies can do so at any drop-off location in the city, or the office of Koslowitz, located at 118-35 Queens Blvd, 17th Floor in Forest Hills.
