Weekend Transit Roundup: Changes to E, F Lines

Here's how the weekend looks for the subway.

Things are changing for the weekend in Queens’ subways. Take a look at these changes to subway routes that could affect your commute.

From Friday at 11:15 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., Brooklyn-bound F trains will be rerouted on the M line from Roosevelt Avenue to 47th-50th Streets due to station work at Lexington Avenue-63rd Street for the Second Avenue Subway Project.

Also, there will be no E trains between Jamaica Center and Van Wyck Boulevard due to track maintenance from Friday at 11:45 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.

Free shuttle buses will operate between Jamaica Center and Union Turnpike.
