UV Levels Not Too Harsh Early This Week

Break out the hats and sunglasses, just to be safe.

If you love summer weather, but not harmful UV rays, the next few days might be good ones to get out.

UV rays will be at 5.5 level, within Medium range on Monday, according to Pollen.com. Tuesday will be an even safer day to hang by the pool, dropping slightly to 4.9. Wednesday's UV levels will rise to 6.1, which is still well within Medium range.

Patch would recommend using tons of sunscreen regardless of the forecast, but with recent dissention among experts on whether or not it is beneficial—or even safe—a hat seems a surer bet. Check out this report from U.S. Health News and decide for yourself.
