Queens Soccer Stadium Inching Closer to Goal?

Rumors keep flying about the possibility of an MLS team in Queens. What do you think?

Soccer is the world's game, so it only makes sense for the world's most diverse county to have a team, right?

If some Queens leaders have their way, that plan could become a reality sooner rather than later, according to the New York Daily News.

The idea has been kicking around the borough for some time — build a soccer stadium in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park alongside Citi Field and the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center.

The plans have gotten a little more specific now, with a $300 million price tag and the interest of MLS in putting a team in the stadium.
