Does Tim Tebow Have a Prayer in New York?

New Jets quarterback gets "Bronx cheer" from fans in sloppy first practice.

Tebow-mania, this ain't.

In his first practice with the Jets on a rain-soaked afternoon, new quarterback Tim Tebow threw some deep balls with current starting quarterback Mark Sanchez, and fans didn't exactly give the new guy the benefit of the doubt, according to ESPN.

Tebow, the report said, lofted his fair share of wounded ducks, eliciting groans from fans who had traveled to Cortland, New York for the Jets first training camp of the summer.

In a driving rain storm, Sanchez, , was the more prepared of the two quarterbacks.

On one play, ESPN reported, Tebow tried to scramble his way out of trouble, only to bump into a non-contact sack, after fans had screamed for him to throw the ball.

We've asked you before if you thought , and now that he's had his first practice, we're curious. Do you think he'll be a good addition to the team? A viable option for the Wildcat formation? Or will he just be a distraction?

it's all in the eyes. all winners have it. if there is any doubt/fear it is all in the eyes. tebow maybe green but he has desire and is fearless.

well, tebow is still learning the jet system, so you cant make a decision based on the play now, the question is when he becomes familiar with them, will he be better than sanchez...in saying that, i believe the jets have two of the best backup quarterbacks in the league..sanchez and tebow...

The Tebow situation is another example of Jets leadership not having a clue as to what they need to get to improve. They should concentrate on improving their defense and getting someone who can sack the quarterback.
