What's going on in schools this week?

Let's take a look at what's happening in schools across Forest Hills this week with our Patch for Parents column, Happenings. With summer fast approaching, there's not much left to do in the school year.

Forest Hills High School

Day one of finals in science and social studies is on Tuesday, June 5. There will also be a Parents Association meeting at 7 p.m.

Prom will be held at Leonard's of Great Neck on Wednesday, June 6.

Thursday, June 7 is Brooklyn-Queens Day, students do not have school.

Friday, June 8 there will be a senior barbecue from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Kew-Forest School

Final Exams will be held from Monday, June 4 to Tuesday, June 5.

On Monday, June 4 there will be a faculty and staff appreciation dessert at 12 p.m. 

There will be a donor reception and a Parents Association meeting on Thursday, June 7.

The band recital will also take place on Thursday, June 7 at 6 p.m. 

Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School

Students will have confirmation rehearsal on Monday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 6.

The NY state test on science will be administered to grades 4 and 8 on Monday, June 4.

P.S. 101Q

There will be a half day for students on Tuesday, June 5. Students will not have school on Thursday, June 7.
