What's going on in local schools this week?

There is no school Monday (Jan. 30) for high school students because of Chancellor’s Conference Day. All other students have school as normal.

High School report cards will be mailed Tuesday, which coincides with the start of the spring semester.

MetroCard distribution for public school students will take place Tuesday, Jan. 31 during 2nd and 10th period classes.

will have an all-school open house on Thursday night, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for all grades, PreK-12. The school will also host its International Culinary Evening at 6 p.m. on Friday night.

PEST ALERT: Evidence of bedbugs was reportedly found in the general office at Russell Sage Junior High School last week.
