Published reports are saying that the city is reviving a plan to put chefs in the  

Participating chefs made school lunches for students from scratch, but the program was shelved because some of the meals did not line up with federally mandated nutrition requirements.

Now some city leaders are urging the Department of Education to reactivate the program within the bounds of what the USDA says students should be served.
