Forest Hills Woman Leaves $1.6M Gift To Queens College: Report

Music lover left gift of music to Queens College students in will.

A Forest Hills woman left a $1.6 million gift to Queens College's Aaron Copland School of Music in her will, according to a report in the Western Queens Gazette.

Beatrice Schacher-Meyer left the surprise gift in her will without letting the school know in advance, according to the report.

She also left $400,000 to the Juiliard School.
