Forest Hills Students Make President's, Dean's Lists at Berkeley College

Five from Forest Hills and seven others from Rego Park honored for academic achievements.

Three students from Forest Hills have been placed on the president’s list at Berkeley College, while another two made the dean’s list for the summer semester.

Michael Brana, Nicole Guarino and Anthony McKeown all made the president’s list at the school, while Jasmandee Arango and Rui Sato were placed on the dean’s list.

Additionally, Rego Park’s Dalila Rahmani and John Velasco were added to the president’s list, while five others from Rego Park – Nowshin Ahmed, Kuan-Chieh Chen, Nadia Islam, Stephanie Salgado and Kaoru Yamazaki - were placed on the dean’s list.

To make the president’s list, a student must earn a 4.0 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits. To be placed on the dean’s list, students must get a 3.5 average with at least 12 credits.

“Berkeley College is proud to recognize these students for their outstanding academic achievement,” Berkeley President Dario Cortes said. “Students who reflect this level of dedication to their studies become our future leaders.”
