Can a Jewish food ethic enrich spiritual practice by teaching intentionality and gratitude, while helping to create stronger sense of community?   Eating kosher is increasingly being explored as a way of integrating values such as ethics, community, and spirituality into our daily lives. Mary Zamore will discuss how we can best incorporate our concern for the environment, for workers, for the hungry, for animal rights into a personal food ethic.  A Reform rabbi and the first Reform mashgiah, Mary Zamore is a member of Hazon's Jewish Food Educator Network.
