Anthony Weiner and wife Huma Abedin welcomed a baby boy Wednesday, according to NBC News.
Weiner, who was drummed out of office in Forest Hills over the summer during a Twitter sexting scandal, previously was the Congressman for New York's Ninth District.
Weiner and Abedin welcomed 7-pound Jordan Zain Weiner more than a week early, according to the report. The baby had been due on New Year's Eve.
News that Abedin was pregnant , when Weiner accidently made public a private photograph of his groin he had posted on Twitter and sent to a follower.
The incident brought to light a series of online liasons the Congressman had carried on for months.
