Voter Registration Deadline: Oct. 12

All that complaining you're doing about taxes is crap if you don't vote.

It's fall. The kids are back in school, it's getting cold in the mornings and evenings, you've got other stuff occupying your time.

So maybe up until now, registering to vote has slipped your mind. 

Time to wake up and get your head in the game, pal.

Oct. 12 is the deadline to register to vote in this year's election. If you want to cast a ballot for Obama or Romney, you've got to register by then.

To find out if you're already registered, go to the Board of Elections website.

If not, you can register online or in person at one of their offices. You can also print out a registration form at home and mail it in.

There are a lot of ways to participate, but you've got to pick one, and you've got to do it by Oct. 12

Vote, or you render what our founding fathers did basically meaningless. Harsh.
