Turner Attends QJCC Legislative Breakfast

Republican congressman continues string of local meetings with civic groups.

U.S. Rep. Bob Turner, R-Forest Hills, made a visit to the Queens Jewish Community Council's legislative breakfast recently, talking about national security and the importance of Israel's relationship with the United States.

Turner has been making the rounds at local community organizations recently, , touching base with local civic leaders and getting a lay of the land in the Ninth District.

Turner is approaching the three month mark in office, and while much of the first two months was spent with Congress in session, the newly-elected Republican Congressman now has a chance to work closely with local groups.
