Should Congress Have Term Limits?

Throw the bums out?

Could the federal gravy train in Washington be coming to an end? No, frankly, probably not.

Still, not for nothing an Arizona Congressman has introduced a bill to create term limits for federal lawmakers. The proposed legislation would limit U.S. representatives to three terms of two years each, and Senators to two terms of six years each.

The bill would only impact incoming legislators, meaning the do-nothing shmucks that are in there now, accomplishing basically bupkis, would have carte blanche to stick around until they grew mold. Assuming they keep getting elected.

What do you think? Forest Hills has actually had quite a bit of turnover in Congress, with three different people serving the community in Washington in the last two years.

But has that turnover made a real difference?
