So how does the view look for Republicans in your neighborhood?

Unsurprisingly, the neighborhood's larger GOP contingent can be found south of Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills Gardens. An area with some of the highest residential property values in the city, it tends to have a larger percentage of conservative voters.

The most heavily saturated Election District in the neighborhood is 28031, which stretches from Union Turnpike to Ascan Avenue in the Gardens, with a whopping 30 percent of voters there casting their ballots for Republicans.

The rest of the Gardens, according to WNYC's map, fluctuates from the high teen's to the low 20's.

Southern Forest Hills also borders arguably the most reliably conservative stronghold in the entire borough — Middle Village. On the other side of Woodhaven Boulevard, residents run to the right in the voting booth more than one third of the time.

North of Queens Boulevard — where mansions and Grosvenor Atterbury architecture give way to rows of large apartment buildings — the numbers dip. Average registration is in the low- to mid-teen's, with one district outlier at 23 percent Republican.
