Quinn Promotes NYC Diversity Week In Forest Hills

Council speaker visited Reform Temple of Forest Hills to promote celebration of city's diversity.

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn visited the Reform Temple of Forest Hills for some special services on Friday night.

Quinn was in Forest Hills to promote New York City's diversity campaign, which has been advertised throughout the city with large red billboards.

The campaign, Quinn said, is a response to recent high-profile hate crimes against minorities, in particular members of the gay community, in areas of Staten Island and the Bronx.
