Protester Tossed Out Of Turner's Forest Hills Swearing-In: Report

Turner ceremony interrupted by heckler, former cop tosses him out.

An Occupy Wall Street protester who stood up to heckle U.S. Rep. Bob Turner at his swearing-in event on Sunday was summarily tossed out on his ear by an ex-marine, the New York Post reported Monday.

The protester, who attended the public event at Sunday afternoon with a sign disparaging the new congressman, could barely get the words out of his mouth before being dragged by the collar out of the building.

The Post also has a series of evocative photos of the protester being dragged from the premises.

Turner's office did not respond to a request for comment as of press time, though the Post reported that as his heckler was dragged from the auditorium, he made a quick remark.

"“Protesters are on the wrong track. Socialism has been tried again and again, and it doesn’t work ... He picked the wrong guy to pee off.”
