Patch Asks: Is Cuomo's Tax Deal Right For New York?

What do you think of the governor's new plan?

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has reportedly solidifed a deal to create new tax brackets in New York state, levying the highest rates on high-income earners.

While the plan does not renew the state's millionaire's tax, those in the higher tax brackets can expect to pay more than they did before 2009.

The plan would raise billions in revenue for the state. It would also cut taxes on New York's manufacturing industry.
