On The Agenda: Tonight's CB 6 Meeting

What's being discussed in your neighborhood?

Tonight's Community Board 6 meeting at 80-02 Kew Gardens Rd. will feature a few new developments in the neighborhood, as well as some older concerns.

After the Chairman's report and the District Manager's report, residents and the board will here from Renee Hererra, of Queens Parks and Recreation department.

There will also be a public committee hearing on the zoning and construction of a four-story community-use facility on 102nd Street in Rego Park.

McDonald's on Metropolitan was scheduled to have a zoning construction hearing as well, but according to Board Chairman Joseph Hennessy, the restaurant cancelled on Tuesday afternoon. 

There will also be a hearing on the possiblity of the use of Queens Boulevard between 69th Road and 70th Avenue for a green market this summer.
