“Small businesses are the economic engine of the Queens economy,” said Meng, who is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Small Business Committee. “I urge all small business owners in Queens to attend [the summit], particularly those impacted by Hurricane Sandy, so they can learn valuable information to help their businesses and become familiar with the critical resources available to them.”

Attendees will be able to obtain information on financing, marketing, loans and grants, business plan development, tax exemptions, complying with regulatory matters and doing business with the federal and New York City governments.
