Koslowitz Visits Queens Young Democrats

Pitches group on importance of local government projects.

City Councilwoman Karen Koslowitz, D-Forest Hills, made a stop at the Queens County Young Democrats meeting recently to talk about policy-making in New York City, among other topics.

Koslowitz told the group about her recent experiences as the chair of the council’s Economic Development Committee and projects she’s helped to spearhead in the five borough’s this year.

She was joined by Congressman Gary Ackerman, D-Bayside, and Council member Dominic Recchia.

"QCYD was excited to hear from Council Member Koslowitz and our other speakers regarding the importance of youth involvement here in Queens,” said Queens County Young Democrats President  Costa Constantinides “We were excited to have them all there.”
