Koslowitz Asks Constituents: Support Citymeals On Wheels

City Councilwoman Karen Koslowitz, D-Forest Hills, recently went door-to-door in her district with Citymeals On-Wheels to highlight the importance of helping seniors and other community members in need.

Citymeals On-Wheels is one of the largest senior-oriented meal delivery programs in the country, delivering more than 2 million meals every year to seniors throughout New York City.

In her most recent volunteer trip, Koslowitz said she was overwhelmed by the work volunteers do every day for their elderly neighbors.

"Citymeals-on-Wheels is an integral part of our community serving thousands of seniors who are unable to shop or cook for themselves” Koslowitz said. “I am very proud to support and take part in the great work of this organization”
