Hevesi, Koslowitz Endorse Weprin To Local Seniors
Forest Hills electeds make pitch for Weprin at Burns Street senior center
Assembylman Andrew Hevesi and City Councilwoman Karen Koslowitz, D-Forest Hills, accompanied fellow Democrat David Weprin to Young Israel of Forest Hills Senior Center this week.
While talking to seniors, Hevesi and Koslowitz also took shots at Weprin's opponent, Bob Turner, saying his "tea party" mentality was not the right fit for Forest Hills.
The special election in the Ninth District will take place on Sept. 13, which is also Primary Day in New York state.
