Halloran Cuts Ribbon on Campaign Office

Months into campaign, Republican refocuses campaign on economy.

City Councilman Dan Halloran opened his campaign office in style over the weekend, with a few of his closest Republican compatriots.

Halloran addressed a friendly crowd at the event, framing his own campaign platform as one of job creation and economic growth for local business owners.

"This election is about three things: jobs, jobs and jobs," Halloran said. "Hope and change starts at home. We are going to fix things because we are not better off today than we were four years ago."

Among the local Republicans joining Halloran at the event were former state Senators Frank Padavan and Serf Maltese, City Councilman Eric Ulrich and current Forest Hills Congressman Bob Turner.
