D.A. Could Move Across Street — And Into Forest Hills: Report

Brown could ditch Kew Gardens office for bigger space across Queens Boulevard.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown could be moving his office across Queens Boulevard, and from Kew Gardens into Forest Hills, according to the New York Observer.

In a story Monday, the paper revealed that the District Attorney’s office is seeking a bigger space, and could be moving into the Forest Hills office tower that was recently vacated by JetBlue.

Forest Hills Tower, which is also home to the offices of has a 180,000 square foot office vacancy after the discount airline left last year for Long Island City.

The District Attorney currently works out of 80-02 Kew Gardens Road, an office that was once home to , and briefly held the offices of his replacement,

A source told the Observer that the current offices, which occupy 100,000 square feet, are too small to accommodate the staffing needs of the Queens District Attorney.
