Crime Prevention Issues Big Topic At Forest Hills Civic

Residents raise issues with local law enforcement.

The Forest Hills Civic Association meeting Tuesday night was dominated by talk of high-profile crime incidents over the last month.

Community Affairs Officer Enisa Redzematovic offered civic members tips on how to stay safe and keep belongings at hand even in local churches.

Redzematovic also said that she had visited other churches in the area in the wake of the incident to make sure they were taking precautions to protect parishioners.

In addition to concerns about crime in the area, Frank Gulluscio and Joseph Hennessy from Community Board 6 were on hand to talk about the importance of the city's community boards.
