Community Forum Tonight!

Locals can discuss quality of life issues, meet with NYC government representatives.

Got a problem that needs solving? Today's your lucky day.

City Councilwoman Karen Koslowitz, D-Forest Hills, will be hosting the area's first "Community Forum" for Forest Hills and Rego Park.

Koslowitz announced the event late last month, after a previous event at the Forest Hills Jewish Center brought out hundreds of residents complaining about local flooding.

Wednesday night's event will not have one single issue as a focus, but will be an opportunity for residents to seek out specific city agencies which can help them deal with issues from immigration to affordable housing.

The event will take place at the Central Queens Y from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
