CB 6 to Hear City's Snow Removal Plan at Jan. 8 Meeting

The board will also vote on liquor licenses for local businesses.

The city will provide an update on how it will handle snow removal in Forest Hills and Rego Park during Community Board 6’s Jan. 8 meeting.

The city’s Department of Sanitation will unveil its winter snow plans for the community during the meeting, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Kew Gardens Community Center, located at 80-02 Kew Gardens Road, suite 202.

The board will also vote on liquor licenses.

CB 6 District Manager Frank Gulluscio said that one topic the board would like to tackle this year is the expansion of a local library.

“For 2014, we’d like to see the Rego Park library expanded because it’s overcrowded,” he said.
