CB 6 to Discuss Tennis Center Project, Restaurant Variance at November Meeting

Board will also hear a presentation from the city's DEP on green infrastructure.

Community Board 6 will hear presentations from the USTA National Tennis Center and the city’s Department of Environmental Protection at its Nov. 13 meeting.

The board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in suite 202 of the Kew Gardens Community Center, located at 80-02 Kew Gardens Road.

The DEP will talk to attendees about a citywide green infrastructure and bioswales initiative.

Danny Zausner, a spokesman for the USTA, will talk about an ongoing renovation project at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center.

The board will hear a committee report on an application to renew a variance for an unenclosed sidewalk café – Moca Asian Bistro - with eight tables and 16 seats as well as vote on liquor license notifications.
