CB 6 to Discuss Affordable Care Act During December Meeting
Group will also vote on liquor license applications and Comptroller John Liu will pay a visit.
Community Board 6 will hear a presentation on the Affordable Care Act and hold a public hearing on issues pertaining to the welfare of the community at its December meeting.
The board, which covers Forest Hills and Rego Park, will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 11 at the Kew Gardens Community Center, located at 80-02 Kew Gardens Road, suite 202.
City Comptroller John Liu will drop by the meeting and the board will hold a public hearing on the welfare of the CB 6 district as well as vote on liquor license applications and renewals.
Also, coordinator Renee Reopell will discuss the Affordable Care Act's online marketplace and health exchange.
