Woman Killed on LIRR Tracks Identified

Dong Sin Hahn, of Brooklyn, was killed by a westbound train Monday.

MTA Police have identified the victim who jumped onto the LIRR tracks at the Forest Hills station Monday evening as Dong Sin Hahn, 54, of Brooklyn.

Hahn was struck at 6 p.m. by a train arriving at the station, which originated at 4:39 in Babylon, Long Island.

Police said they believe she threw herself onto the tracks in front of the westbound train on its way to Penn Station.

Trains were delayed while police and emergency sevices units were dispatched to the station. Service was restored shortly after 8 p.m.

The incident is still under investigation by MTA police.
