Woman Attacked, Robbed Inside Apartment Building
Suspect followed victim into Rego Park building and assaulted her.
Local police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect who attacked and robbed a Rego Park woman on April 16.
The suspect, pictured above, followed the victim into her Wetherole Street apartment building then assaulted her, punching her in the face and stealing her wallet.
The attack occurred at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. The victim was treated for injuries at a local hospital and released.
If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
