Wanted: Two in Forest Hills Train Stabbing

Assault took place on E train last weekend.

is asking for the public's help in locating two men wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in the Union Turnpike subway station on Sunday, May 20.

A 21-year-old man riding a Manhattan-bound E train got in a verbal argument with two other men as the train was approaching the station. One of the suspects involved stabbed the victim in the right side of his torso to end the dispute, then fled the train once it stopped at the station.

The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

One suspect is between 25- and 30-years-old with tattoos on both arms. He stands 5'7". The other suspect is the same age, roughly 5'10" with dreadlocks. 

The police have distributed photos of the two suspects, which can be seen at right.
